One of the worst meals in a very long time...maybe ever. I ordered six of the roasted oysters and one of them was a different color than the others. I put another in my mouth, took one small bite and spit it out!!!!
How could a chef have so little pride that he would send this out??????
I had a Bombay martini and asked for a lemon twist. It came out with a larg4e lime wedge. I sent it back and after fifteen minutes i asked the waiter where it was. He said that they didn't have very many martini glasses so they were washing and drying it!!!!!!!
I tried to have a special dinner for my son since he just got baptized that morning. He is 6 and wanted seafood at a "fancy place". Well the food was greasy and everything grilled was covered in butter/oil. My wife and I couldn't even eat the dirty rice as it was glistening with fat. I like butter like most people but the dishes were drenched with it. I was also up charged $7 for a small piece of fish because I wanted Mahi Mahi instead of Tilapia fish. My son's virgin strawberry daiquiri was so sweet even he couldn't drink it. My overpriced $13 mixed drink was subpar and weak. Four servers were standing around chit chatting while our water needed filling. Too much standing around and not taking care of the customers is very unprofessional. Our waiter also did the bare minimum. I love Landry's in Kemah but this location at the Golden Nugget is terrible. Some $140 meal I wasted money on!!! This is second time I've tried this place and there will not be a third.
A valid attempt at a real Vegas casino resteraunt but falls short. Service was just adequeate and while my main course (Landry's Fet.) Was excellent, everything else was reminecent of a large chain resteraunt.
Three of us ordered the blackened red fish and it was so overcooked we couldn't finish it.
This was at the golden Nugget hotel so you would think they would have their act together?????
Awesome service, friendly atmosphere and great food and drinks.
If it were free I wouldn't eat there again.
