Not the prettiest but it is a good place to shoot. Good people. Especially to a familiar face. His wife can be a little tough at times but she's really sweet a knowledgeable. And not to mention they have a cheap gun rental fee for those of you without a gun of your own. Or if you just want to try a different caliber or brand. $5. Thinking about going there today.

EDIT: So after going there for a while now, most of my review is the same. If you go and the lady is there, it is really hit or miss with what kind of mood she could be in. Sometimes she is perfectly pleasant and other times she can be very aggressive and rude. I've never had any trouble with the two gentlemen that usually work there. They used to be my go to for FFL transfer. But, in searching more extensively, their transfer rate is ridiculously high. The place I found now and some other places in the area only charge $20 per firearm. Hunters Supply charges 10% of gun price and there is a minimum charge of $50. They have the upper hand as that there is no other pistol range within 20 minutes of the Lake Charles city limits.
