New and needs to be worked on with some items. Parking sucks. I like to be able to see my truck in the event I need to set cross hairs. Staff was nice to me. Good wifi. Beds are firm which I like. Shower is great. Over all its a good place.
New facility, has a great amount of desk space for working and very comfortable beds. The staff are pleasant and helpful, though the parking area leaves little space for late-comers
Last people's trash was still in bathroom & totally disgusting. People one floor up had kids who ran and jumped incessantly, and I could hear it clearly in my room. Complained to no avail. I would not recommend that anyone stay here.
Terrible parking. Expensive for a Candlewood. Nice new rooms, but they are lacking in QC. No alarm clock in my room and the shower head barely points down enough to hit inside the tub and not the back wall. No do not disturb magnet in my room. Would still give 4 stars if not for the terrible parking situation. They just stuck this hotel on the property with no thought. People have to park all over the place, many not in marked spots, and every morning I was there, the loading/unloading zone at the front door was full of parked cars.
We had to stay during the evacuation of Hurricane Harvey while our house and neighborhood was flooded. The hotel itself is very nice and the kitchenettes are very convenient. Although the hotel doesn't have a pool, they have a board game and movie rental and free washers and dryers, as well as 2 BBQ pits and cooking utensils. Unfortunately only 1/3 of the front desk clerks were friendly and professional throughout our 5 day stay. Our first night, we were greeted by a huge cockroach and a dishwasher full of dirty dishes (looked like they just ran the cycle without checking to make sure the dishes were cleaned or putting the dishes away in the cabinets). A relative staying also found pubic hair on their bedsheets but was upgraded due to the inconvenience.
