Me and my brother arrived at 8:45 P:M due to a leg injury he aquired in the past. A year ago he was hit by a car and broke his leg in half ; upon our arrival we waited two hours just for them to get an X-Ray.. after that we waited an additional hour just for them to get him a room. We waited until 12:30 A:M until they finally brought in his results. Please understand that he was limping in the hospital and works 10 hrs a day. The drs proceeded to tell him the x-ray was clear but the swelling was still completely obvious. They told him to Ice his leg, take Motrin / Tylenol, and to elevate his leg. Any human with a leg injury knows these basics. We left without discharge papers after being there 5 hours with no prescribed pain medication or anything for the swelling. The staff was lazy and rude and overall this was the worst healthcare experience of our lives. What a waste of time and a waste of money, I wouldnt recommend this hospital to someone dying of a heart attack because they would likely say its heart burn. Im an angry citizen for compassion for my injured brother and I dont believe this is how he should have been treated. Take my word, dont waste your time with a lousy staff with no reguard for its patients.

First, when I arrived they gave me a number & then took it back & gave it to someone that came in after me. I waited from 9:45 until 3:30 to have surgery. I was in so much pain in recovery & they told me 3 times I needed to stop being so loud because they had other patients. After I was back at n my room they brought a sandwich for supper & I couldn’t even swallow because my throat was hurting so bad. The next morning they brought French toast that I couldn’t eat because of my throat. I didn’t have anything, but Jello for 36 hours. I was very disappointed in the service.
I went in ER very sick yesterday. They nurses was great. They came in right away and started an IV on me. I loved the family feeling I felt almost like be with my on family. Thanks
On Dec 11, 2017 approximately @ 11:30 pm we arrived at Christus St Patrick's Hospital ER. I am a very patient person, but when you get ER workers that are tired and show the patients they don't give a damn it's time to get new employees. This makes no sense! At 2:23 am we had to sit in the ER Exam Room & hear about how it's a hostile work environment and all other kinds of gossip about their fellow workers. Its freezing in the room the patient ask for a warm blanket and is ignored. These workers have gone to school and took oaths and know what kind of environment they are working in. We as sick people don't need to know all this mess. The doctor finally arrives @ 3:00 am. (I will spread the word for sick ppl not to go to Christus St Patrick Hospital). It's truly a disgrace!!!!!! I will Pray for the workers to have strength & to remove the gossip from their mouths about their co-workers and to take better care of their patients.
