Dr. Hadley Prince is the same. He listens, and advises in an unhurried manner. He has taken the time to tell us about how long it will be before he could see our dogs...very reassuring when one's nerves are on edge. He thoroughly explains any procedures he plans on initiating, and his followup instructions are clear and through.
This facility is absolutely the best bar none! We were on vacation and this clinic is open only after hours, weekends and Holidays! After coming back to Texas we still make a trip...worth it. The staff is so knowledgeable and extremely concerned with every need. Their Veterinarians love their job and it really shows!
They are friendly. I give them that. I hate saying this but I will never bring another animal here unless it is truly dying. Need stitches or staples? Find a hog hunter or watch a YouTube video, this is not the place. I mentioned what was wrong with my other dog and I was told it is serious and we have to put tube in to drain. Well the dog healed within a week with my care. "Treated" dog, going on 3weeks and in pitiful shape and lots of fees.
Of course their charges are higher than regular hours clinics, but in my opinion very reasonable.
We have used their services three times in the past three years - all emergencies, on weekends of course! We are so fortunate to have such a service during off hours, weekends and holidays. All the staff with which my family has contact have been very courteous and helpful.
Brought puppy in because he would throw up his food. Vet made it sound like it was life or death and they needed to do surgery, only to find nothing. 1500 dollars later and they kept him for 3 days I still have a puppy that throws up. Felt like my emotions were being used to fill up their wallets, because there had to be a simpler approach.
First time I had to use ER Vet and must say I am pleased. Doctor Scroggs is honest and pationate. Staff is very friendly. Would have given them 5 stars BUT they tend to do other services without asking first.
