The accelerated reader program is a point where they excel. The teachers that care are well organized and seem to be concerned about the students.
The special education program is one that should be avoided at all costs. In the past, by admission I learned that those teachers are poorly equipped and scarcely trained to deal with some exceptionalities. They often use up all their PTO before the spring bc the stress level and frustration is so high.
Only a handful of teachers ruin this school but it is noteworthy. I find them to be a low budget, just enough to het by school. Minimal playground toys and no music program.
