Then, she ordered the Shrimp Scampi dish and specifically asked for the shrimp to be "well done" because it's always under-cooked. Well, it came out with the shrimp under-cooked anyhow. Our waitress Juanita asked to reheat but my wife said she'd just bring the shrimp home and cook them later.
Ms. Mary did make things right.
We've eaten here (W. Prien Lake Lake Charles, LA. location) many times and this was the first time to have any issues whatsoever.
I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Definitely one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in my life. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attendant. The food was great, try the chocolate cheesecake it’s amazing. After we finished our food I believe it was the manager that came up and talked to us and asked about our service and meal. All of the staff was amazing and I would go there again for the service alone.
Oliver Garden has great food. But on this visit there were some issues. My wife's Chicken and Gnocchi soup was cold, twice. She ate the first one but sent back the second bowl for reheating.
Eventually the manager, Ms. Mary came out and comped both and apologized multiple times.
The portions and flavor of all of our dishes was superb.
Our server, Juanita, was very polite and courteous.
Food is yummy. Service is usually good. They can accommodate parties of 15 if need.
This is a great place for a quiet lunch or dinner with friends or family. The last waitress we had was very attentive, and kept our drinks full. There's a bar in the front. The food is delicious, and the wait time to be seated is little to none. Italian wine is a staple, and prices for food and drinks tend to be moderate. I recommend the mushrooms for an appetizer.
If not for some of the dishes being cold I'd have given this Olive Garden a 5.
I've always loved Italian food. I frequent Itaialian restaurants vs fast food. Olive Garden, while still not the best IMHO, is still a great place with great food. I prefer more authentic Italian to a chain restaurant any day. However, for being a chain restaurant... they're pretty good.
Sadly, when we received our appetizer, the Meatball Stuffed Pizza Fritters, they cold inside.
