Although I only go to this store whenever I'm in town but I have to say it makes me sad that we do not have a Books A Million close by in my hometown! They have a great selection of books and their bargain section is phenomenal! They always have a great variety of books on sale! The coffee shop gets a bonus too because they have frozen hot chocolate! The customer service is really good and I always look forward to coming here whenever I'm in Lake Charles!
Plenty of books and a decent staff. If you ever have to use the bathroom here be warned- people will just hang out for hours and there isn't enough space for two people.

I love books, and bookstores. This bookstore is good, they have a nice selection of books and they seem to rotate often in my favorite sections so I see a lot of new books. They have great board games too, lots of variety, from family games to two player strategy games. I don't like the hassle at checkout. They always ask if I am a member, which I am not a member, I have been a member twice and the cost to benefit ratio never worked out for me. Then they always want me to pick a magazine or some other annoying thing when I want to do is pay for my purchase and go.
