Decent place for kids 4+ slightly overpriced and a bit unorganized; lack of workers etc...this place is a child's version of the wild west in some areas. Some good locally based learning exhibits.
Lots of fun for kids. Budget and museum expanding. Family pass is a good deal.

My kiddo loved it. We've been to multiple children's museums and this one has some unique stuff. It's also a bit dated and needs some new upgrades. Some money needs to be invested, and it would go a long way...
We visited family in LC and were looking for kid friendly things to do. The musuem had cool STEM activities for all ages although I think 3-10 is ideal. It has three floors and most of the activities are adult friendly. I thought the rock climbing wall was pretty radical. This place is great for well-mannered children to explore, be curious, and be loud. We have a double stroller and it maneuvered well through the entire museum too.
