Dr. Perry did my braces and permanent retainers, 14 years ago when I was 15. During my two years going there, the nurses were nice, and Dr. Perry was very thorough and took great care of me. I'm happy to say I have a lovely smile of straight teeth. However, I needed to return 10 years after to have my top retainer taken off due to cavities behind it, and then have it replaced. The new guy, Dr. Fairchild, was not thorough at all. My first permanent retainer lasted over 10 years, and the only reason it had to be replaced was due to my needing dental work. My new one that was replaced by the new guy, NOT Dr. Perry, fell off less than two years later. I'm very careful with my teeth and the equipment in there, and I see the dentist twice a year like clockwork. I take great care of my teeth, so there's no good reason it should have fallen out so easily or so soon after being replaced. I will not be returning and will find someone new who actually cares about their patients long-term care. And seeing as I was over 27, and my insurance stops covering orthodontics after that age, I paid IN FULL to have a shoddy retainer replacement. I gave 2 stars because Dr. Perry was an amazing orthodontist and I appreciate everything he did for me and my smile, but the guy he's brought in and is now taking care of his patients, is not on Dr. Perry's level or have his expertise.
